To
commemorate the victims of the Ayder Elementary School, Mekelle,
Ethiopia massacre of June 1998 by the Eritrean government warplanes.
The Ayder Memorial Library Project Committee mission is to establish a library and monument through funds raising from concerned Ethiopians and friends in memory of schoolchildren, teachers, parents, and other civilians who were killed or disabled during the air raid by the Eritrean government warplanes in the school premises of Ayder Elementary School.
